CEO
Scan-IT is the software branch of Danish logistics and shipping group Scan-Group. Scan-IT develops the enterprise software, Phoenix, that is used by Scan-Groups different companies in the NVOCC Shipping business, the biggest being Shipco headquartered in New York. 
Software development in Scan-IT is done out of a development center in Pune, India where we have approximately 150 people in the engineering organization. Phoenix is a Cloud-hosted product on an Oracle platform that we are slowly transitioning to Postgress while decomposing the application into multiple services. Application and UI is built using standard modern open source tools and agile development methodology.
I managed the company from a base at Scan-Group headquarters in Copenhagen but all interaction is with customers across the world and the engineers and managers in India.

I was managing a team of developers, UX and Scrum Masters working on two different projects – a mobile application and a data-exchange service. At the same time I was acting as technical responsible for new projects starting up, hiring developers and working with architects in the pre-analysis phase.
We used SAFe and ran 2-week sprints with PI-planning every 3 months.
UFST is a very big IT organization with both many internal resources as well as a lot of external consultants on projects ranging in size from small to very large multi-year projects

In the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Client team, we worked on carrying forward the investment previously made in building the “Business Client” under Dynamics Tools / Microsoft Business Framework, and using that as a new UI and user Experience for Dynamics NAV.
